When you leave a comment on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form as well as your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.
The information you provide when you create a customer account is used for the sole purpose of facilitating your purchases. We also retain email addresses associated with orders for customer service purposes, such as managing refund requests or a product recall. An automated email from a third-party service, email@example.com, will also be sent to you two weeks after your transaction, asking you to provide a review on your purchases.
The data collected by our contact form include your name, email, telephone number and postal code. We retain your contact form submissions for customer service purposes but will not use them for commercial purposes.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to re-enter these details if you wish to leave another comment in the future. These cookies expire after one year.
If you have an account and log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen display cookies for one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login cookie will last for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.
If you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include any personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the post you just edited. It expires after one day.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the exact same way as if you had visited the other site.
We use the data collected by Google Analytics for internal purposes only; we will not use it for commercial purposes.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
